Hold onto your cowboy hats—the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is set to announce its 2025 concert lineup this Thursday.

Speculation is running high about who will grace the star-shaped stage from March 4 to March 23, with Beyoncé fans, in particular, buzzing about the possibility of her making a celebrated return to her hometown. While rodeo officials have remained tight-lipped on the rumors, the idea of a Cowboy Carter moment has fans eagerly dreaming.

The anticipation will end on Jan. 9, when the rodeo unveils its 2025 lineup at 7 p.m. during an invitation-only event at NRG Center. For those unable to attend, Chron's Sarah Pearce will livestream the announcement on Chron's Instagram account.

RodeoHouston’s genre calendar, released in November, provided a glimpse of what’s to come. Fans can look forward to a mix of country staples, hip-hop and R&B, regional Mexican music, pop and rock performances, and an intriguing wild card night scheduled for March 18.

Last year’s rodeo featured beloved staples like Bun B, Brad Paisley, and Luke Bryan, alongside newcomers Oliver Anthony, Jelly Roll, and rapper 50 Cent. The festivities kicked off with Blake Shelton and concluded with Eric Church.

Since 1942, the Houston Rodeo has paired its competitions with live entertainment, beginning with The Singing Cowboy, Gene Autry. Over the decades, the event has hosted music legends such as Selena, ZZ Top, Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, George Strait, Elvis Presley, Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, and many more.

Season tickets for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo are now on sale, with single-day tickets set to become available at a later date.

Stay tuned—this article will be updated as soon as the lineup is announced. We'll finally find out if Beyoncé is making her highly anticipated return to her hometown stage.
